William Shephard![]() Bill is the Vice President of Group Services at the Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc. (CPSB). He is responsible for designing and conducting facilitation and training projects with a wide variety of organizations. Professionally in the field of organizational creativity and innovation since 1980, he is an experienced trainer, facilitator and presenter in the areas of creative problem solving, innovation and facilitation. He has conducted facilitation projects and training for IBM, GE, PetroBras, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Oxford University Press, Armstrong World Industries, Alcatel Lucent and numerous other leading corporate clients. He has particular expertise in training and coaching individuals in the concepts and skills needed to be successful facilitators of creative problem-solving and change management with extensive experience in international and multi-cultural settings. Prior to joining CPSB, he was the Chief Program Officer of the Creative Education Foundation and for 18 years he served as the Director of the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI). Tim Switalski Tim Switalski![]() Tim is founder and president of Darwin Associates, a consulting firm with offices in Buffalo, New York and in Milan, Italy, specializing in helping organizations to grow and evolve and to learn and develop their creative potential. He works with organizations throughout North America, Central America, South America, and Europe to facilitate creativity and innovation. He is a master facilitator, executive coach and learning consultant specialized in leadership development, team cohesiveness, emotional intelligence, change management, and organizational growth, with a specific focus in the area of creativity and innovation. An ad agency veteran with 23 years at BBDO New York where he was Senior Vice President, Group Media Director, John has been actively involved in emerging media technologies, particularly those focused in the evolution of television into the current model. This has included innovative work on cable TV in the 1980s (Pillsbury, DuPont), on interactive TV and the internet in the 1990s (Visa, US Navy) and multi-platform online video and advanced television in the 2000s (Ultramercial, Teads.tv). He is founder and Principal of the consulting, publishing & information services business TV-The Next Generation (SM). Kitty has fostered creativity development in her own ‘backyard’ as chairperson of the Florida Creativity Weekend and Founding Member of Florida Creativity Coalition, LLC. Kitty is a lifelong learner who has been involved in education as a student (PreK through PhD) and professional for over fifty years. She has also made a lifelong commitment to community involvement and is passionate about applying creativity to make a positive difference in her own life and in the world. Currently locally, she serves on the Board of GCC of US Committee for UN Women and is co-chairing the L2L Teen Program (Learners to Leaders) and is also on the Community Advisory Board for PALS (School Volunteer Program). As Director of the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, which holds the most comprehensive collection of this artist’s work, Dr. Hine directs the Museum in its period of most intensive growth. Foremost on the agenda are the establishment of the Dali Center for the Avant-garde and the Edge at the Dali as research and experiential laboratories of the Museum in its new and innovative museum building. Dr. Hine earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and his master’s and doctorate at Brown, and has served as an adjunct professor at Stanford and the University South Florida. Anthony Hyatt![]() Anthony Hyatt is a violinist and multimedia performance artist from the Washington DC area whose interest is in the role and use of improvisation techniques in the creative process. He is a teaching-artist working with many health and human service organizations. His longest affiliation, since 1997, is with the nonprofit Arts for the Aging organization under whose auspices he leads creative engagement programs at adult care facilities and for whom he co-directs the senior citizen improvisational dance company known as Quicksilver. He is a master trainer of the USA based National Center for Creative Aging and an artist-in-residence for the Medstar Georgetown University Hospital’s pediatric and cancer care programs.
